Samsung Malaysia has officially opened channels for preorders for its latest Odyssey G3 gaming monitor.
When Samsung officially steps into the gaming monitor market with its Odyssey G9 and G7 models last year, those have been reviewed as one of the best-curved displays you can get for gaming. This time, with the Odyssey G3 however, it goes back to the traditional flat panel of VA that boasts a standard 144Hz and 1ms MPRT response time alongside AMD FreeSync Premium. On the other hand, it also provides existing Samsung display features like Gamer Mode, Flicker-Free, and Eye Saver that lets you adjust on the fly to adapt to different situations, and with the stand being adjustable, it can swivel, tilt, pivot, and elevate as you please. As you can see, the G3 is aimed more towards the mid-range market to improve its accessibility towards gamers around the world while still providing qualities that made the Odyssey G9 and G7 popular in the first place.
By placing a preorder which is still available now, you can get either a 128GB EVO Plus microSD for the 24-inch model at RM799 or a 250GB 970 EVO Plus SSD for the 27-inch model at RM1,299. Samsung Malaysia’s official website hosts both models while Lazada and Shopee links are limited to the 27-inch model for now.
