Samsung Malaysia has introduced its 2026 Odyssey and ViewFinity monitor lineup, featuring a range of new display innovations designed to support gaming, productivity and creative workloads. Let’s take a quick look.
Leading the lineup is the 32-inch Odyssey G8 G80HS, Samsung’s first 6K gaming monitor, featuring a 6K resolution for sharper and more immersive visuals. It introduces Dual Mode technology, which allows users to switch between 6K at 165Hz for detailed visuals and 3K at 330Hz for faster competitive gameplay.
The monitor combines a 1ms (GtG) response time, Fast IPS panel technology, and HDR10+ Gaming support to deliver smoother motion, faster responsiveness, and enhanced visual detail during gaming sessions.
Following that, the 27-inch Odyssey G8 G80HF expands the lineup with a more compact gaming display that also boasts Dual Mode technology for seamless switching between 5K at 180Hz and QHD at 360Hz. Similar to the 32-inch Odyssey G8 G80HS, this monitor is also equipped with a 1ms (GtG) response time, Fast IPS panel, and HDR10+ Gaming support.
Moving beyond gaming-focused displays, the 40-inch ViewFinity S8 S85TH is designed for productivity and multitasking with a curved 5K2K WUHD display that provides a wider field of view and larger workspace for managing multiple applications more efficiently.
The monitor also features Samsung’s Easy Setup Stand for tool-free installation and flexible adjustments, alongside TÜV-certified Intelligent Eye Care that automatically optimizes brightness and color temperature to reduce eye strain.
Connectivity is powered by Thunderbolt 5 with up to 80Gbps transfer speeds and 140W charging through a single cable, while support for daisy chaining and a 144Hz refresh rate further enhances workflow efficiency and overall usability.
