TP-Link has officially launched it’s latest Neffos X series smartphones, the Neffos X1 and Neffos X1 Max that was here in Malaysia. First announced at IFA 2016 back in September 2016, the new Neffos X series is meant to bring unparalleled value to the end-user by prioritizing features that help them stay closer to everything and everyone around them.
The size of the display is the main difference between both devices, where the Neffos X1 is equipped with a 5-inch 720p IPS display, whereas the Neffos X1 Max is equipped with a slightly larger 5.5-inch 1080p IPS display.Â
While both the Neffos X series devices are powered by the same MediaTek octa-core Helio P10 chipset and ARM Mali-T860 MP2 GPU, the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory variant is only available for the Neffos X1 Max. The Neffos X1 on the other hand, will feature a total of 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage at most.Â
Camera wise, both the Neffos X1 and Neffos X1 Max will feature a 5-megapixels front camera and a 13-megapixels rear camera with Sony IMX258 sensor and f/2.0 aperture.  The Neffos X1 is a equipped with a 2,250mAh battery while the X1 Max gets a battery with slightly larger capacity of 3,000mAh which supports fast charging feature that allows you to charge the battery up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
Both the Neffos X series devices will be available in Cloudy Grey and Sunrise Gold color variant and is expected to hit the shelves of major retail stores by March 2017 with the following MSRP:
