TP-Link Malaysia has signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with New Era University College to help prepare students for careers in enterprise networking and Malaysia’s growing digital economy.

The partnership will bring TP-Link’s Omada enterprise networking solutions into the university’s learning environment, giving students hands-on experience with networking infrastructure similar to what they would encounter in real-world business environments. Students will also have access to technical workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and the Omada Certified Network Administrator (OCNA) certification pathway that complements academic learning with practical networking skills and industry-recognised credentials.
TP-Link Malaysia will also provide industrial training and internship opportunities to help students a more direct pathway to gain workplace experience and transition into the technology industry.
The partnership also builds on TP-Link Malaysia’s existing collaborations with Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM). The OCNA certification pathway has already been introduced across participating institutions, with around 500 students taking part in the programme in 2025.
