TP-Link Malaysia has just entered into a strategic partnership with Freshtel Internet in an effort to level up the in-home WiFi experience as more households struggle with congestion and inconsistent performance.
Under the new MoU, Freshtel will start integrating TP-Link’s HB610 WiFi 7 Tri-Band Whole Home Mesh into its internet service offerings, which will the earliest ISPs in Malaysia to do so.
Specifically, the HB610 adds an extra 6GHz band into the mix, which helps reduce congestion and keeps performance smoother when you’ve got multiple devices fighting for bandwidth across the home, and that directly addresses the reality of modern households where everyone is streaming, gaming, working, and scrolling at the same time.
Beyond just residential users, both companies are also looking ahead at broader opportunities, since TP-Link’s Omada platform could support centrally managed environments such as multi-unit residences and hospitality deployments, giving Freshtel room to expand into new service models.
