TP-Link Malaysia is doubling down on its long-term talent strategy, as they have announced a collaboration with Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, or USIM, to make that happen in a more structured way.
The partnership itself is locked in through a three-year MoU, and it’s pretty hands-on, as TP-Link is bringing its Omada enterprise networking solutions straight into USIM’s campus labs, which means students will be working with setups that actually reflect what companies use in the real world, not just simulated environments or outdated systems.
The program blends practical training, structured workshops, and even a direct pathway to the Omada Certified Network Administrator certification, as well as internships and industrial training with TP-Link itself.
Looking ahead, both sides are also planning to expand beyond just training into research collaboration, faculty engagement, and knowledge sharing, which could tighten the link between academia and industry even further. As a whole, USIM joins the ranks of UM and UiTM in terms of TP-Link’s continuous effort in growing the enterprise networking talent pool.
