The AORUS GeForce RTX 5090 INFINITY from GIGABYTE has been officially announced to provide both performance and design within a statement piece of a GPU for high-end enthusiast-class users.

They are hyper-focused on cooling this time, as the new WINDFORCE Hyperbust design comes with a Double Flow Through mechanism that opens up the airflow path so both fans can push air directly through the heatsink without obstruction. Compared to more traditional designs, they’re claiming up to 58% more airflow versus a standard backplate setup, and even a noticeable jump over single pass-through designs.

Hidden in the middle section is the Overdrive Fan that is sort of “invisible” so that it creates a cleaner, “dual-fan” look but still offers unbeatable tri-fan cooling capability. Then the Hawk Fan design reduces turbulence while boosting air pressure and volume, a large vapor chamber making direct contact with the GPU for faster heat transfer, and superconducting heat pipes handling different thermal zones more efficiently.

Meanwhile, composite metal grease is on the GPU and server-grade thermal gel is for VRAM and MOSFETs to maintain proper contact and long-term reliability, especially under sustained loads.

Design-wise, the full metal shroud and backplate shape a low-key industrial vibe, yet improve durability and structural integrity. Taking cues from aerospace engine nacelles, it forms the curved, streamlined contours that match the airflow concept.
