To begin with, the D8 Hybrid accommodates four SATA HDDs/SSDs and four M.2 2280 NVMe SSDs, each with a capacity of 24TB for drive and 8TB for M.2 SSD, which offers users up to 128TB of storage space, making it an ideal option for expanding storage on Windows, Mac or Linux computers.

It also offers high flexibility in data storage management to enable users to manually select storage locations based on data type and usage, which enhances storage efficiency and access speed. Leveraging the large capacity of mechanical hard disks and M.2 SSDs, frequently accessed hot data will be stored on high-speed SSDs for quick access, while cold data is stored on HDDs.

Additionally, the D8 Hybrid boasts an intelligent cooling system and a super quiet design to ensure the hard drives stay cool while operating at a low noise level of just 21 dB.

In terms of transfer bandwidth, the hard drive enclosure packs USB 3.2 Gen2 protocol to deliver quick data transmission of up to 10Gbps. Paired with a single M.2 SSD, it can achieve a read/write speed of up to 980MB/s, whereas with two SSDs or two hard drives in RAID 0, the read/write speed can reach up to 960MB/s and 521MB/s respectively.

Another cherry on top is the tool-free HDD tray swaps with Push-Lock auto-locking system to prevent any accidental disconnections, as well as quick M.2 SSD installations thanks to the specially designed covers and screws.
