TerraMaster has announced its latest 2-bay NAS F2-424 2-bay NAS, which boasts the Intel Celeron N95 4-core 4-thread processor, 8GB DDR5 memory, two M.2 NVMe sockets, a USB Type-C host interface, and a USB Type-A interface, as well as the latest TOS 5.1 operating system.

Thanks to the stronger CPU and DDR5 memory, the F2-424 boasts a significant performance upgrade that results in a 140% improvement over its predecessor. It is also equipped with two 2.5 GbE interfaces and can achieve up to 283 MB/s for linear data transmission. Plus, Link Aggregation delivers a network bandwidth of up to 5 Gb, offering a cost-effective solution for multi-user and high-concurrent file access.

Additionally, the F2-424 is compatible with various RAID types which include RAID 0/1/JBOD/Single, and TRAID.

It also has a new structure that achieves a low noise level in standby mode of only 19dB(A).
