SAPPHIRE has announced the GearBox 500 eGPU that packs an updated chassis design for improved airflow to serve the needs of 1080p gaming.
While the existing eGPU offerings in the market all offer the highest performing graphics card at exorbitant prices, the GearBox 500 fits the internal GPU with the PULSE Radeon RX 6600 XT but of course, users can swap it out with any other GPU in the market rated for up to 350W for customizability. But if the default selection is enough for you, the PULSE Radeon RX 6600 XT can serve you well through below-average temperature and noise together for a slightly better thermal overhead. For connection, it runs the Thunderbolt 3 or 4 port that enables laptops or small form factor computers the ability to tear through intensive tasks without adding weight to the existing machine. The enclosure also offers the ability to charge other devices of up to 60W through PD Charging protocol, Gigabit Ethernet connection, and dual USB ports for transferring files and USB pass-throughs.

The GearBox 500 eGFX Enclosure / Solution with PULSE Radeon RX 6600 XT is unconfirmed for Malaysia at the moment.
