Intel has just launched its new Core 14th Generation desktop processor family, the Intel Core i5-14600K, Core i7-14700K, the flagship Core i9-14900K, as well as the KF SKUs for each respective models.

According to Intel, the Core i9-14900K features 24 cores and 32 threads that is similar to its predecessor but gets a higher boost clock that goes all the way up to 6GHz right out of the box, providing gamers with improved experience. The Intel Core i7-14700K, on the other hand, features a higher 20 cores and 28 threads count, enhancing performance for multitasking that is beneficial to creators with significant performance gains. These processors deliver up to a 23% gaming performance boost compared to competitors, alongside improved application threading.

Aside from the new processors, Intel’s Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU) too is getting a new update, which features AI Assist that enables one-click AI-guided overclocking for select unlocked processors. These processors, powered by Intel’s advanced performance hybrid architecture, ensure seamless user workflow without compromising performance. They also offer unmatched overclocking experiences for both beginners and experts and support DDR5 XMP speeds exceeding 8,000 MT/S.

Additionally, they come with integrated support for Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.3, as well as discrete support for new Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 technologies. They are also compatible with Thunderbolt 4 and upcoming Thunderbolt 5 wired connectivity, providing up to 80 Gbps of bi-directional bandwidth. These processors remain compatible with Intel 600 and 700 series chipsets, enabling users to effortlessly upgrade existing systems.

No local pricing in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) is available at the moment but we’ll be updating it here as soon as these new Intel Core 14th Gen desktop processors is available in retail outlets and via OEM partner systems starting October 17, 2023.
