Earlier today, the ASUS TUF FX505 with GTX 1650 was leaked on Lazada store. As we can now confirm that there is indeed a GTX 1650 that is on its way to the market, the desktop users are probably wondering what will the specifications and pricing is going to be.
At about the same time, renown site for GPU leaks Videocardz posted a new leak that contains the full specification, supposed launch date and pricing of the upcoming GTX 1650 from NVIDIA.
According to the leaked specifications, the GeForce GTX 1650 uses a Turing TU117-300 that packs a total of 896 CUDA cores. The GPU is going to be lower than both the GTX 1660 Ti and GTX 1660, which is at 1485 MHz base clock and 1665 MHz boost clock. The 4GB memory and 128-bit memory bus are pretty much expected, as it will be the replacement for the entry-level GTX 1050.
Although we’ve seen the leaked renders from Palit, Gainward and Zotac which shows that the GTX 1650 has a TDP of 75W and doesn’t requires any additional power, videocardz did mentioned that there will be models that will still feature a 6-pin PCIe power connector.
Availability and Pricing
Videocardz also reported that NVIDIA will be launching the GTX 1650 on April 23rd at $149. Apart from the leaks from videocardz, Vonguru reported screenshots of the EVGA GTX 1650 XC Gaming and XC Black Gaming found on Amazon France, which suggests that $149 is the starting price and there will be different models from the board partners that will come in various pricing.
