Cyberpunk 2077 is undoubtedly the most highly anticipated game of current time and NVIDIA has confirmed its partnership with CD Projekt Red to bring real-time ray tracing feature to the game.

While both NVIDIA and CD Projekt Red has yet to unveil which kind of ray tracing method will be implemented in Cyberpunk 2077, two screenshots were released to showcase in-game scenes at 4K resolution with real-time ray tracing enabled.

“Ray tracing allows us to realistically portray how light behaves in a crowded urban environment,” said Adam Badowski, Head of Studio, CD PROJEKT RED. “Thanks to this technology, we can add another layer of depth and verticality to the already impressive megacity the game takes place in.”
