Dell has announced the Alienware gaming sub-brand is receiving new models for the classic M-series and the thin and light X-series gaming laptops to fill the ever-increasing computing demands of triple-A titles of recent years.
The list starts off with something fairly simple: the Alienware m17 R5 rocking a full Team Red setup of the AMD Ryzen 6000 series mobile processors, Radeon RX graphics, FreeSync Premium, SmartShift MAX, and Smart Access Memory to harness the full potential of what Lisa Su and team has brought forward to gamers in 2022. The 7th revision of the m15 also brings along some of the improved design towards the cooling system which is the Alienware Cryo-tech containing vapor chambers for unthrottled performance under sustained load. The device also carries the distinction of its ability to be configured with optional Cherry MX mechanical keyboards specially designed just for laptops.
17-inch laptops are a bit too big for you or prefer something from Team Blue and Green? Then move over to the Alienware m15 R7, a smaller model of the former m17 but you get to choose whether to get an AMD Ryzen or 12th Gen Intel Core H-series processor together with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-Series Laptop GPU.
As for those who want the ultimate performance inside a thin and light chassis? Then the new Alienware x14 is the brand’s thinnest to date fully made possible through a new patent-pending hinge design housing the latest 12th Gen Intel Core H-series processor together with either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU or the upcoming Intel Arc GPU which many people of the industry is looking forward to. Memory configuration can also go up to a maximum of 32GB RAM and 1TB PCIe storage. The latest x14 model is also running one of the largest batteries to date with over 11 hours of HD video playback all the while running stuff like NVIDIA Advanced Optimus and G-SYNC to get the best value out of every wattage.
The same thing is offered with bigger displays in the form of the Alienware x15 R2 and x17 R2 which also packs the same brand new silicon from Intel and NVIDIA alongside DDR5 RAM that goes up to 6400MHz for even more performance together with all the gaming essence like AlienFX stadium lighting.
It seems that Alienware has managed to take a step ahead of the game in the gaming monitor scene through the introduction of the AW3423DW – which is the world’s 1st quantum dot OLED monitor and thanks to the technology, the panel can stay slim while getting all high performing parts working together, resulting in a 99.3% DCI-P3 color gamut with Delta E <2, 1000 nits peak brightness, VESA DisplayHDR400 True Black certification for superior visual fidelity while the maximum 175Hz refresh rate, super-fast 0.1ms response time and NVIDIA G-SYNC ULTIMATE provides a seamless and tearless gameplay experience. The 34-inch panel curves at 1800R with a 360° ventilation path surrounded by the AlienFX lighting upon the OLED stadium loop ring and thanks to the new centralized OSD 5-Axis joystick many features get to be accessed in an instant including swapping between the color range of DCI-P3 and sRGB and more. Of course, the monitor can be tiled, swivel, slant, and height adjusted to provide the best comfort for each and every gamer out there.
