Premium automobile designer brand Porsche Design has collaborated with AOC to introduce the AOC AGON gaming monitor with a brand new twist and flavor of car philosophy.

AOC AGON PD27

The AGON PD27 is a 27-inch QHD panel that provides a 240Hz refresh rate with up to 0.5ms MPRT response time and AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro resulting in a gaming experience similar to driving a race car: silky smooth and no smearing or ghosting alongside the eye-catching yet sleek metal stand design that matches real-life race car roll cages that can fully support and stabilize the display.

Certified with VESA’s DisplayHDR 400 standards, enjoy vivid and lifelike colors with a wide dynamic range through the QHD 1440p resolution with 550 nits of brightness. The 1000R curvature is especially great for sim-racing games, thanks to opinions submitted by enthusiasts and communities. Powering the sounds are the 5w stereo speakers with DTS functionality and there are 4-port USB 3.2 hub, 2x HDMI 2.0, and 2x DisplayPort 1.4 inputs on the back.

Surprisingly, the monitor will also come with a wireless keypad that lets you access monitor settings or preset gaming profiles on the fly. From the design, it looks fairly like a car key which is design philosophical correct, coming from a world-class designer like Porsche Design.

The Porsche Design AOC AGON PD27 will be available in November 2020 in select Porsche Design stores, specialist retailers, and online at www.porsche-design.com and selected retail online shops at EUR 799 (~RM3896.38). While most of us won’t be able to afford a real-life Porsche automobile, the AGON PD27 might be the closest thing possible though.
