Xero is introducing its new Xero Lite plan in Malaysia, aiming squarely at micro and small businesses that want to ditch paper notebooks and scattered receipts for a digital setup.

Xero Lite solves the pain points of small firms stuck in the early stages of digital adoption by using only basic tools, leaving many owners trapped in a loop of manual records and sprawling spreadsheets. You may be surprised – 60% of small-scale businesses in Malaysia are experiencing it.
The plan provides practical features that build day-to-day resilience, allowing users to create and send quotes alongside up to five professional invoices per month from either a smartphone or a computer. Instead of dealing with manual data entry, business owners can snap photos of bills to extract data automatically, while the platform safely stores everything in the cloud to protect against lost paperwork.
The software also serves up real-time financial reports so owners can monitor cash trends and evaluate profit margins on demand, plus it arrives completely e-invoicing ready to help local businesses prepare for upcoming regulatory requirements and avoid unexpected fines. On top of that, subscribers get full access to the Xero App Store to connect specialized apps for inventory or payments, and the system integrates directly with Anthropic to bring Claude into Xero and sync financial data with Claude.ai.
Pricing and Availability
Xero Lite is available in Malaysia now, priced at $3.50 USD per month for a limited time of 36 months to new and existing business and partner subscriptions purchased through xero.com before December 31.
