TEAMGROUP has proudly revealed the latest PCIe 4.0 equipped NVMe SSD that challenges the performance ceiling against other competitors, the T-FORCE CARDEA A440.

TEAMGROUP T FORCE CARDEA A440 PCIe 4.0 SSD 1

Designed to cover up the heat generated by the increased power draw of PCIe 4.0, the custom made graphene pad plus the thick aluminum fins positioned in a beveled shape that makes up the heatsink is tested for having 15% lower temperature than other controlled tests to quickly dissipate heat which prevents thermal throttling – a no-no for a drive that is created for speed in mind.  Running off the NVMe 1.4 standard in a 4×4 configuration, the top read/write speed rated for this drive is at 7000MB/6900MB per second rate which if you can imagine running RAID 0 off 2 of these is actually very overkill. It also comes with Read Recovery Level that gives the SSD a better lifespan and a basic level of error correction while Predictable Latency Mode (PLM) slows down wear and tear while cutting down latency is also pretty useful and practical. For buyers looking forward to future-proof their build, rest assured that it is also PCIe 3.0 compatible so just chuck in and start using it in your current rig.

Pricing

The TEAMGROUP T-FORCE CARDEA A440 NVMe SSD is available in 2 variants of capacities: 1TB at USD229 and 2TB at USD429. No official local price has been announced as of now.
