The wait is over for the hardcore MSI Lightning series graphics card lover as we finally got a glimpse of MSI’s latest overclocking flagship graphics card, the MSI RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z. It was first leaked on HWBot benchmark with a whopping 2450MHz on the GPU clock speed, but then taken down in a very short amount of time.
The only image that was available that time is a shot of the card’s PCB, revealing its 19-Phase VRM, custom heatplate with heatpipes and 3 x 8-pin PCIe power connectors. There are also multiple fan and voltage connectors which can be seen near the end of the card.
While most of us are still waiting for the official announcement from MSI, the actual MSI RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z was already tweeted by Hardware Canucks earlier today.

As the flagship product, premium looking design are to be expected and personally, we find that MSI really did a great job on their RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z. It sports a black-gold accent, triple-fan cooler with carbon fiber-like textures and gold-colored metal pieces on the shroud, massive heatsink, middle plate and backplate for enhanced rigidity.
