With businesses in the SEA region shifting toward hybrid setups, tighter budgets, and stronger sustainability goals, Epson has announced the new “Dust-Free, Heat-Free, and Stress-Free printing” strategy to help organizations get more out of its service.

Epson Dust Free Heat Free Stress Free Solution

One part of the conversation is indoor air quality, which is becoming a bigger deal in crowded office environments. Epson points to a study by the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology and Testing that looked at several of its printers – specifically the AM-C4000, AM-C400, and L6490 – and found extremely low levels of detectable fine and ultrafine dust particle emissions under controlled chamber testing conditions. The idea behind Epson’s Dust-Free approach is that leaner printing environments mean fewer distractions and a healthier workspace for employees who spend long hours indoors.

Epson’s business inkjet printers don’t require heat during the ink ejection process, thus the Heat-Free Technology. As such, electricity consumption can drop by as much as 85%, while the printers can also start up quickly without the usual warm-up time. For businesses trying to control energy costs while still maintaining productivity, that could make operating expenses more predictable without sacrificing performance.

Then there’s the reliability side of things, where Epson says its printers use a simplified print system with fewer moving parts of up to 59%, which helps reduce the chances of breakdowns and lowers maintenance requirements.

Selecting the right-sized printer fleets could deliver cost savings of up to 53% too, as one of the big reasons is that many companies still rely heavily on large A3 printers even though around 98% of office print jobs are actually A4.

To help businesses address that, Epson offers something called the Right Fleet Solution. It starts with a free assessment where Epson experts evaluate an organization’s current print environment to spot underused devices and hidden costs. From there, they design an optimized fleet using real usage data to recommend the right mix of devices, before presenting a proposal that highlights potential cost and electricity savings along with projected ROI.
