InfoBip has announced its new AgentOS solution as an AI-native, fully managed system designed to power autonomous, goal-driven customer interactions at scale.

Built on the company’s previously introduced AI Agents, it combines Conversational Customer Data Platform (CDP) with real-time journey orchestration so businesses can manage marketing, sales, and customer support decisions through a single unified AI layer. As for its goal, the idea is to utilize AI agents to consolidate isolated workflows to allow the creation of autonomous interactions that continuously adapt based on customer intent, behaviour, and timing. Specifically, these agents are capable of handling structured data, contextual info, and executing tasks across multiple communication channels, including SMS, RCS, email, WhatsApp, and voice, along with more than 15 natively integrated channels.

AgentOS is enterprise-ready through a human-in-the-loop model where AI handles scalability and efficiency while human specialists supervise complex interactions and refine performance over time. Its modular architecture, open APIs, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) interfaces mean organisations can integrate the system gradually – starting with a single high-impact use case before scaling across departments without major system disruption. Through MCP servers, AI agents can also securely interact with third-party systems to handle tasks like identity verification, booking services, or executing transactional workflows directly within conversational journeys.

It also contains built-in safeguards around governance, compliance, and auditability, giving organisations more confidence to automate while still maintaining oversight.

Another interesting piece is how Infobip’s MCP servers create a universal language that lets AI agents interact with third-party systems, which means these agents can handle real tasks like booking flights or setting up two-factor authentication (2FA). Whether companies use Infobip’s own AI agents or third-party ones, they can still leverage the platform’s global omnichannel communications infrastructure to complete AI-driven customer tasks end-to-end.

AgentOS will be available directly from Infobip starting April 1.
