It literally ended with a bang. That’s how most PUBG games end, with the exception of getting killed by the electrifying blue sphere. With the final shot from the gun, the chicken dinner was awarded to the winners of Cooler Master’s Regional Circle Of Champions as its grand final that happened on 21st July 2018.
We were honored by Cooler Master Malaysia to be the official media for this event.
We actually interviewed Juan Chong who handles the marketing for Cooler Master Malaysia, to tell us more and what we should know about the event. Check out this article to know everything about it.
The Grand Finals was held at Battle Arena. There were a total of 18 teams participating on that day. 4 players per team, which amounts to a total of 72 players. Teams were scattered around the venue – which is surprisingly adequate as Battle Arena itself is a big place. Also, PUBG is such a perfect game for such a setup for the Cooler Master Regional Circle Of Champions.
There were a few things happening at the event – firstly, the demo area. We saw that Cooler Master is already showing off their latest products that debuted in Computex at the demo area here. These products were shown off:
- Cooler Master CK550 mechanical keyboard that uses Gateron switches. Review coming soon
- Cooler Master MasterMouse MM530
- Cooler Master RGB Hard Gaming Mousepad
- Cooler Master MasterCase H500M
- Cooler Master MasterPulse MH752 that features a USB input that supports virtual 7.1 surround sound.
- Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R RGB
Since the Cooler Master Regional Circle Of Champions is an event that involved 5 different countries – Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, and Indonesia, casters from each of the countries were flown to Malaysia to do the casting live as well.
Between all of the 6 games, there were giveaways and many prizes were given out – including the newly-launched Cooler Master CK550 mechanical keyboard that uses Gateron switches. One unit of the superbly shiny Cooler Master MasterKey MK750 was also given away.
At the end of the event, the winners were announced – congratulations to teams and especially the top 5 teams!

- Silver Wolves from Malaysia – 2nd place
