AMD has recently updated its Radeon software: Adrenalin Edition 22.5.2, with a few key enhancements and optimizations to increase performance on Radeon graphics. So here are the points you need to know regarding the software update.
The new update has brought support to Sniper Elite 5 and a ray-tracing update for Hitman 3, as well as an additional Vulkan extension to further enhance the gaming experience of some of the newer games, especially titles with ray-tracing features. So if you’re planning to play the mentioned titles, be sure to update your software to the latest version for the best gaming experience.
While DirectX 12 might be the latest option for gamers to enjoy better graphics and new features, there are still some who still prefer to stick with DirectX 11. So AMD has taken this group of users into account and pulled out the DirectX 11 performance upgrade for Radeon RX 6000 Series.
Radeon Super Resolution has been showing some promising results since its release, so AMD has further extended the support for AMD Ryzen 6000 series CPUs with integrated graphics as well. On top of that, a new “Sharpen Effect” slider has been added to allow users to freely customize the sharpness effect to the setting they desired.
What’s more, AMD has also included Smart Access Memory optimizations for Death Stranding and Watch Dogs: Legion in this update. Refer to the following list for more details:
Death Stranding | Watch Dogs: Legion | |
Radeon RX 6950 XT | Up to 10% increase in performance @ 1440p Very High settings | Up to 13% increase in performance |

Last but not least, AMD has partnered up with Eyeware to develop the AMD Privacy View, a new cutting-edge eye-tracking technology to provide users better privacy by giving focus on what’s important and blurring out areas around it.
