Celebrating Acer’s 30th anniversary, the company announced a total of 7 new monitors from across 3 different series. We have new monitors ranging from the Nitro series, enthusiasts level Predator series, and also the ProSumer series.

Since last year, we can see that there is a shift towards higher refresh rate monitors. They are getting cheaper and support 144Hz out of the box. Acer wishes to provide customers more choices and flexibility while choosing the most suitable monitor by offering a wide variety of choices.

Acer ProSumer CB342CK

Acer Monitor CB342CK

The ProSumer CB342CK is one of the core highlights of the announcement. Its 34-inch UltraWide QHD 3440 x 1440 resolution is paired with VESA Certified DisplayHDR 400 and 99% sRGB wide color gamut that gives out a natural yet sharp visual experience. Fine-tuning of colors which is essential for designers can be done through its integrated 6-axis color adjustment.

Can it fit into a multi-monitor setup? Of course. The ZeroFrame design is aimed to deliver a seamless viewing angle, maximizing the experience in the process. It also comes with Acer ErgoStand for adjusting the tilt, swivel, and height for the best viewing position and be done optionally with the bundled remote controller.

Other welcomed specifications include a 75Hz refresh rate, speakers, FreeSync support and much more.

Actually, this is one of the first 21:9 flat monitors that have 1440p resolution. And yet the price is rather affordable, too.

Acer Predator XB273UGS

Acer Predator XB273UGS

The all-new Predator XB273UGS monitor is NVIDIA G-SYNC supported and fitted with a 27-inch IPS WQHD display with up to 165Hz refresh rate and up to 0.5ms response time that further mitigates any smearing or ghosting occurrence. And thanks to the VESA Certified DisplayHDR 400 and 90% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, immersion levels through realistic image recreation are better than ever.

There are lots of ports available for all your needs, including HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2, USB 3.0, and built-in speakers. In case of extended viewing time during periods of gaming, it is surprisingly comfortable thanks to the flicker-free technology, blue light reduction, and low-dimming technologies.

Acer Nitro XV340CKP

The Nitro XV340CKP is the new big boy in the Nitro series lineup. Equipped with a 34-inch IPS UltraWide QHD 3440 x 1400 resolution, it provides a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1ms response time while supporting 99% sRGB wide color gamut. Not only that, but it also supports FreeSync, VisionCore, and HDR10 at 250nits of brightness. The core identity of this model seems to be the size and color gamut, as other features are overlapped with existing similar products.

Yes, this is Acer’s gaming-grade flat 21:9 monitor with 1440p resolution!

 Acer Nitro XV272UP

Acer Nitro XV272UP

The Nitro XV272UP not only focuses on gaming, but designers may also be benefited from this monitor as well. Featuring a Delta E<2 and 95% DCI-P3 color gamut, the color accuracy is super accurate and color difference is barely noticeable. Gamers would also appreciate this feature for vivid colors and immersive lighting, especially when ray-tracing comes into the equation. With a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms of response time at 2560 x 1440 resolution, this monitor achieved a great balance between popular features of what gamers and designers are looking for.

 Acer Nitro XV270P & XV240YP

Acer Nitro XV270P

The Nitro XV270P is the go-to monitor for gamers who prioritizes frame rates above anything else. At a standard Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, it has a base 165Hz refresh rate that can be overclocked to 240Hz. Coupled with up to 0.1ms of response time, it is especially important for competitive games like Counter-Strike and Dota 2 where responsiveness can win or lose a game.

Features such as HDR10, FreeSync, ErgoStand, and VisionCore are within this monitor as well. There is another 23.8-inch variant as well which is the Nitro XV240YP but with similar features as well.

Acer Nitro XV273X

Acer Nitro XV273X

The Nitro XV273X is a higher tier version of Nitro XV272UP in terms of specifications. It boasts a whopping 240Hz refresh rate and up to 0.1ms of response time within an IPS Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution panel alongside 99% sRGB color gamut and Delta E<2 as well.
