Acer Malaysia has finally launched its ace card up its sleeve. Introducing the new Predator Triton 17 X gaming laptop.

Acer Predator Triton 17 X 2

A no-compromise combo – Intel Core i9-13900HX plus NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 with Max-Q Technology – is given to this machine to help you game at the best. The duo is followed up by 64GB of DDR5-5600 RAM plus 4TB PCIe SSD in RAID 0 for as little bottleneck across the entire system as possible.

The total power budget for the computing parts is rated at 330W at max therefore requires the best to cool it off. Featuring vapor chambers and Vortex Flow with 2x 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans with wind-guiding structures, even the vents are placed at the right place for optimal airflow, not to mention liquid metal thermal grease on the CPU which is kind of expected from gaming laptops in 2023.

The 17-inch screen is a wonder too which is a WQXGA mini-LED (AmLED) running at 250Hz and capable of doing 1,000 nits of brightness to meet DisplayHDR 1000’s requirement offering high-quality contrast in games and videos.

The 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and Eyesafe Certified stamp are just icing on the cake at this point.

Looking from the outside, the Triton 17 X is relatively slim compared to what’s housed inside with the CNC unibody polished + sandblasted chassis sitting at just 19.9mm tall. The entire package is rounded with little things here and there including the micro-etched RGB Predator logo, stainless-steel speaker mesh, and diamond-cut highlights.

Other notable features include a per-key RGB keyboard, fingerprint reader, glass touchpad, wide range of I/O ports, and more.

You may get the new Acer Predator Triton 17 X at a whopping RM18,999 at the Acer eStore and Acer Concept Store in IOI City Mall. Certainly not for the faint of heart.
