The Acer Nitro series also had its chance to shine at IFA Berlin 2025, where the central products of laptops, desktops, and monitors all received new models for 2025.
First we have the Nitro V 16, which packs up to Intel’s new Core 9 270H and NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU, powering the WQXGA display with a 180 Hz refresh rate, all cooled by the dual-fan, quad-intake, and quad-exhaust cooling setup.
Want something slimmer? Try the Nitro V 16S running the same processor and GPU options, but comes in a thinner, 19.9 mm metal chassis with a stylish 4-zone RGB keyboard. Both laptops also ship with NitroSense performance monitoring, Acer Experience Zone AI apps, Killer DoubleShot Pro connectivity, and Thunderbolt 4.
Now, the gaming desktop Nitro 70 and Nitro 50 got a refreshed look as well as computing hardware, with the Nitro 70 capable of going up to an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, while the Nitro 50 goes up to a Ryzen 7 8700G and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080.
Both support up to 128 GB DDR5 RAM, huge SSD storage, and Acer’s Nitro CycloneX 360 cooling system for better airflow. The Nitro 70 even gets a 360 mm liquid cooler. To top it off, they come with Wi-Fi 7, ARGB lighting, and eco-friendly cases with recycled plastic.
On the monitor side, Acer introduced four new Nitro displays. The XV275K V6 is a 27-inch 4K UHD panel with a 180 Hz refresh rate and HDR10. The XV273U W1 brings a 27-inch WQHD display with a blazing 275 Hz refresh rate and DisplayHDR 500 certification. If you’re chasing pixel density, the XV270X delivers up to 5K resolution, while the massive curved XZ403CKR comes in at 39.7 inches with 5K WUHD resolution and up to 288 Hz in WFHD mode.
