Acer’s IFA Berlin 2025 participation saw them announce several new peripherals and gear, including the addition of new Japanese-inspired monitors.
The spotlight here is on the debut of two monitors under its amadana brand, which carries a minimalist Japanese-inspired design. The first model is the 16APM1QJ, is a portable 15.6-inch IPS monitor that weighs only 0.65 kg. With wide viewing angles, a built-in stand that tilts up to 90°, and both mini-HDMI and USB Type-C inputs, it’s a handy sidekick for productivity or entertainment on the go.
For those who prefer a larger setup, the amadana 27ART0 P1 comes with a 27-inch ZeroFrame IPS display running at 144 Hz. It also supports dynamic refresh rates at 120 Hz and 60 Hz, covers 99% of the color gamut, and offers HDMI and VGA inputs. Add in its ultra-thin build and small dock for accessories, and you’ve got a clean, versatile monitor for home or work.
Stepping things up a notch, the Acer CE270U Z is built for creators, movie lovers, and gamers alike. This 26.5-inch OLED monitor packs a 2560×1440 resolution, a blazing-fast 280 Hz refresh rate, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support for tear-free visuals. With a lightning-fast 0.03 ms response time, 1,000 nits peak brightness in HDR mode, and 99% DCI-P3 color accuracy, it’s ready for both work and play. It also includes dual 3W speakers and a tilt range of up to 25°, blending comfort with immersive visuals and sound.
On the connectivity front, Acer unveiled the Connect T36 Wi-Fi 7 Dual-Band Mesh Router, designed for high-speed lifestyles. Powered by a quad-core ARM processor, it supports Wi-Fi 7 with speeds up to 3,600 Mbps—perfect for 4K streaming, gaming, and smart home setups. The modular mesh system allows users to scale coverage with additional nodes, while seamless node-switching ensures uninterrupted connections across rooms. Setup and management can be done easily through the Acer Connect App, and the compact design helps it blend into modern environments.
Now onto the projectors, where three new Vero models that push hard on sustainability without skimping on performance. The XL2320p, XL2521, and SL2520n are all mercury-free laser projectors designed for long-term use with lifespans up to 30,000 hours, plus they use 40% less power than traditional lamp-based models.
The standout here is the SL2520n, which is a short-throw model capable of blasting a 100-inch image from just 1.1 meters away – perfect for tight spaces. But across the board, these projectors pack up to Full HD resolution and 4,000 ANSI lumens brightness, with extras like 360-degree projection, portrait mode, 2D and 4-corner keystone correction, and even IP6X dustproofing for reliability in harsher environments. They’re built for 24/7 operation, cover 93% of the Rec.709 color gamut, and hit a 50,000:1 contrast ratio for vivid, immersive images.
For audio, they’ve got 15W speakers built-in, while the XL2 Series gets a dedicated football mode and the SL2520n a golf mode to suit different kinds of content. Connectivity is flexible too, with dual HDMI ports across all models and Ethernet support on the SL2520n. Staying true to Acer’s eco-friendly push, all three projectors use 50% post-consumer recycled plastic in the chassis and come in 100% recyclable packaging.
