Welcome to the first report of Sun Cycle for 2022 as the distributor has brought in a variety of items into the Malaysian market and is the largest batch to date in terms of mechanical keyboards. Let’s roll through what are those.

For quicker explanation, the keyboards are the result of the Ducky x Varmilo collaboration based on the latter’s 65% layout mechanical keyboards that come in a variety of connection options (Wired/Wireless), switches (Cherry/Varmilo), and colors/patterns. You get the deal.

Ducky x Varmilo 1

We’ll start things off with the simplest of all – the Miya Mac that comes in a complete blank of white color to complement the modern office look. If that’s too flat for you, perhaps the Miya Mac Moonlight running a triplet of black, blue and white should do the trick.

Ducky x Varmilo 5

Shifting towards the oriental theme, the fishy Koi theme of red and white complemented with custom decals and printings towards the keycaps of the tidal, spacebar and enter, and arrow keys goes well with the Chinese New Year theme, to be honest.

Ducky x Varmilo 2

Fancy the GMK Red Samurai but want to stay within the Varmilo ecosystem? Then the Miya Pro Beijing Opera will do just fine but it carries all the ancient Chinese text-inspired prints alongside the Beijing Opera custom spacebar. On the other hand, the Pro Panda V2 replaces the red from the Beijing Opera with bamboo green and associated patterns.

Ducky x Varmilo 6

Going into the UwU section of Japanese-based designs, the Miya Pro Sakura V2 is a whole lot simpler than the former and perfect for those who seek the beauty of the sakura flower. Legends said that it is easier to get a gamer girl with one of these.

Ducky x Varmilo 4

Carrying the theme of ice-cold and the marine, the Miya Pro Sea Melody embeds a long whale onto the spacebar keycap while keeping things even simpler than the Sakura. Looking for something that’s calm and soothing and fits most setups without a problem? This could be it.

Ducky x Varmilo 3

Finishing the keyboard section up is the multi-colored Miya Pro Summit V2 and Miya Mac Summit V2 and I will call the duo the quirkiest of all thanks to the custom patterns replacing the usual prints of the arrow and side function keys.

Hyte Revolt 3

With all the keyboard stuff done, let’s move over to the PC casing with the HYTE Revolt 3 small form factor chassis at 18.4L that reminds most people of the NZXT H1 that either comes in barebone or pre-packaged with a power supply unit (PSU) to cut one thing out of the DIY acquisition list. Perfect for those who work in limited horizontal space, the vertical shape allows everything to be installed just like a standard rig but with extra features to make life easier including fully removable external panels, pre-routed cables, and a handle that lets you relocate your PC easily.

More so, we have reviewed it just not long ago by unboxing it and built a sample rig for everyone’s reference. Check out our video here!

MSI Optix MAG281URF

Starting off the gaming monitor department is the MSI Optix MAG281URF designed for the most hardcore gaming experience. Running at 4K resolution with a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz and 1ms response time at 27.9-inches, it can allow you to push your rig to maximum and enjoy your games with absolute visual fidelity. By the way, the MAG series is known to be on the durable side of things, and with the Gaming OSD feature allowing you to configure the monitor with the mouse and keyboard inputs, go ham with the monster of a monitor by Micro-Star International.

MSI Optix G32CQ4 Gaming Monitor

Are one of the curvy boys? Then the R1500 curvature MSI Optix G32CQ4 offers just that with quite the features at a justifiable price as its panel is capable of churning out 165 frames per second with 1ms of response time, albeit it being VA. While not the very best, curved gaming monitors are often made for those who play things like racing sims and sports for immersion rather than competitive titles so if you play this on a regular basis, the Optix G32CQ4 is pretty cool.

MSI Summit MS321UP

Ending the gaming section and we are here for the business use monitor MSI Summit MS321UP created for productivity contributed by the Productivity Intelligence App that allows multi-system input thanks to KVM through a combination of USB-A, USB-B, USB-C, HDMI, and DisplayPort. The IPS panel delivers great details and accurate colors with high brightness contrast that enables a good HDR viewing experience. Additionally, a monitor hood is installed to block out external ambient light, in case you need to work on something like HDR clips.

ZOTAC x Nerdunit

Lastly, ZOTAC has announced that they are collaborating with NERDUNIT to release a special ZOTAC GAMING x NERDUNIT GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge OC LHR Limited Edition GPU that bundles an exclusive hoodie with reflective properties. As this is still kinda new, more news is bound to come.
