Ubisoft has recently launched the new Anno 1800 Empire of the Skies DLC, which includes new construction materials, new anti-air technologies, a new scenario, and the introduction of a mail system.
In the New World session, players can employ new construction materials such as aluminum and helium to build five new advanced airships. Not only that, but they will also benefit from the ability to transfer workforce with airships and allow their residents all around the world to stay in contact with each other via an innovative mail system.
In addition, players can utilize military airships to attack enemy vehicles and harbors, as well as anti-aircraft defenses to protect their islands from enemy attacks. The airships hangar, which has multiple building phases, and a landing platform that comes with three new modules to attach to, will also be required for creating and organizing the airships.
Anno 1800 is also adding a free game update that provides players with quality-of-life improvements, such as updates when interacting with neutral traders and changes to the military system.
With that being said, the Empire of the Skies is now available for purchase via Ubisoft Store as additional content, or as part of the Season 4 Pass.
