Razer has introduced the new Razer Huntsman V2 that champs itself as the world’s fastest and responsive optical keyboard to date.
This achievement can’t be done without the help of the 2nd generation Razer Optical Switches that is tweaked and optimized based on user feedback that includes a silicon sound dampener to produce a more smooth and decent typing experience while additional lubes are applied to achieve a smoother and gradient input which is especially important for optical-based switches. These new switches also utilize a new infrared beam as the signal activator that eliminates all sorts of debouncing delay that also made 8000Hz polling rate a reality on optical gaming keyboards. About the keycaps, they are now upgraded to come with Doubleshot PBT keycaps by default for extra durability and wear resistance with the aluminum top plate keeps the entire board sturdily with minimal flex. It also now features the Multi-Function Digital Dial together with a set of 4 macros/media keys all tunable through the Razer Synapse 3 software for more customizability.
