OWC has officially confirmed its attendance at CES 2026 by bringing a broad lineup of Thunderbolt 5-compatible solutions, where attendees could experience firsthand at Pepcom’s Digital Experience and ShowStoppers segments.
First up the list is some simple, as the brand pushing out its first-party Thunderbolt 5 cable at 2 meters long, bringing in full compatibility with its system alongside things like stronger signal integrity, percision shielding, and more – all the while complying to the full TB5 specifications of 80Gbps bi-directional data speeds, 120Gbps video bandwidth for up to 3x 8K display, and a maximum of 240W power delivery via USB-C. Planning but not running the latest Thunderbolt standards? No worries, you can still use it and it’ll automatically switch back to the older protocols, making it a true “one cable does everything” wire for both Mac and PCs.
Alongside the cable, OWC will also be showing off the StudioStack and Thunderbolt 5 Dual 10GbE Network Dock which are released a couple of months ago, providing up to 6302MBps transfer speed with up to 8TB of NVMe SSD storage and up to 24TB of HDD storage in addition to expansive I/O ports for the former, while the latter gives 2x independent 10GbE ports, an additional 2.5GbE port, and the option to bond connections for up to 20Gb/s access to network-attached storage, all through a single Thunderbolt 5 cable.
Rounding out the CES lineup is Strada, OWC’s peer-to-peer collaboration platform for video professionals. Instead of forcing teams to upload massive files to the cloud, Strada allows editors to access, share, and review large video files directly from local drives anywhere in the world. At CES, the team is set to demonstrate its patent-pending virtual file editing technology, which lets remote video files be dragged straight into a local editing timeline, even over low-bandwidth connections.
