The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 series had its own fair share of debate last week, especially about the VRAM where only the top-notch 4060 Ti gets 16GB while the rest only at 8GB. But let’s just ditch that for now and focusing on what’s being offered by AIB partners.
MSI
MSI continued its decision from the RTX 4070 times and brought it over here as well with the GAMING and VENTUS series taking the charge.
The dual-fan GAMING and tri-fan GAMING TRIO from the GAMING family both feature the TWIN FROZR 9/TRI FROZR 3 cooling system, which includes TORX FAN 5.0 design fan blades, a brushed-metal backplate, and thermal pads for passive cooling. Additionally, the Mystic Light RGB with Mystic Light Sync and Ambient Link is available for those who want to enhance their setup with colorful lighting effects.
On the other hand, the VENTUS 3X/2X models are reliable and cost-effective options that prioritize functionality over RGB lighting. They come with TORX Fan 4.0, a reinforced backplate, and a sleek design, providing more choices for those seeking powerful yet discreet rigs.
ASUS
For ASUS, they are going for 4 different series (Albeit with OC models doubling the numbers technically), namely the ROG Strix, TUF Gaming, Dual, and Dual White.
The ROG Strix is still the chonkiest out of all arming the Red/Blue/Black design filled with RGB LEDs on one end of the card. But it is slightly smaller at 3.1 slots and 311.4mm long so easier installation I guess?
The iconic 11-blade Axial-Tech fans push 21% more volume while features like dual BIOS switch, PC case fan interconnectivity, and Aura Sync compatible tail-lights can be found here.
The TUF Gaming series instead gains very little vertical height which means thickness in exchange for an even shorter horizontal length at 300mm. The rest of the goodies found on the ROG Strix model pretty stay here so this can be great if you don’t like flairs in general.
Lastly, the budget-centric Dual and Dual White series is going to take over the mid-range build due to the vented aluminum backplate, 0dB tech, and high air volume movement. Using only 2 fans means the length is down to a mere 227mm too. And yes, this card only takes 1 8-pin power connector.

PALIT
PALIT is going for the simple ones this time around with the coverage of the Dual and StormX series.

PNY, at least in Malaysia, will be debuting the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB in the form of the XLR8 Gaming VERTO EPIC-X RGB Triple Fan and VERTO Dual Fan series.
True to their names, the former will be the best one equipped with tri-fan cooling system and RGB to light up your rig while providing adequate performance at an affordable price without going too overboard in space occupation since it only takes up 2 slots.
The VERTO Dual Fan series on the other hand, is slightly smaller and works nice with all sorts of builds and stays as simple as it can be – black shroud from top to bottom.
