MSI at COMPUTEX 2024 had a freaking blast promoting and showcasing all sorts of systems and peripherals but in this post, we’ll be focusing on the monitor lineup so join us and see what’s there.
MEG Series feat. 321URX QD-OLED
Perhaps this might already be old news but this is the first time we have seen the MEG 321URX QD-OLED live. Controversial due to it bringing “way too much advantage” to gamers and may feel like the one cheat that “destroys the integrity of esports”, this doesn’t stop MSI from going full force in producing and injecting this model with loads of AI tech.
However, the title we got at the event was Monster Hunter: Rise so for that, we can’t really test out the AI Skysight featured in the initial League of Legends demo when it debuted. But we did have fun with the light bar indicator at the bottom of the screen while enjoying the super vibrant colors.
It can be configured to sync with the player’s health, weapon sharpness, compatible weapon’s charge gauge which in this case is the Long Sword’s Spirit Slash gauge, and also the bullet count gauge for the bowgun gang.
I’d say that it is quite useful but it is a premium to own it whereas software-defined assisting tools like HunterPie can do it for free. But hey, don’t let me stop you from spending big bucks to get fancy stuff.
The core specs are 4K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time, and it uses Next-Gen QD-OLED panel. Packed with an improved thermal solution featuring graphene film, it also has OLED Care 2.0 to protect against burn-ins. I/O ports-wise, it is as follows:
- 2x HDMI 2.1
- 1x DP 2.1
- 1x USB-C (DP, PD 98W)
- 2x USB-A 2.0
- 1x USB-B 2.0
- 1x 3.5mm
And also, look at HOW THIN THIS THING GOES (the panel at least).
MPG Series
The mid-tier MPG family sees a lot of different models but there’s an equal 2 flat and 2 curved models.
Aside from the 321CUPF being a curved Rapid VA that provides dual native resolution that satisfies both competitive and immersion settings, the rest of the lineup is pretty straightforward – pick the size and resolution of your choice and enjoy the fancy QD-OLED breath more life into your favorite titles.

MAG Series
Last but not forgotten, the MAG series for affordable yet great quality products sees the 271QPX QD-OLED E2 and 321UP QD-OLED in 1440p and 4K resolution for more options across the board.
Although there’s no flashy stuff attached to them and had quite the big base stand, at least you’re not paying for something that you don’t use.
On the other hand, the 271RUFW provides 4K with through Rapid IPS, further driving down the ownership cost of a 4K monitor in 2024.
