Kingston has announced the latest M.2 NVMe SSD Kingston KC2500 suitable for desktop, workstations, and high-performance computing (HPC) systems. It delivers powerful performance using the latest Gen 3.0 x 4 controller and 96-layer 3D TLC NAND, ensuring outstanding performance with endurance.

The self-encrypting SSD supports a full-security suite for all sorts of end-to-end data protection using AES-XTS 256-bit hardware-based encryption. Softwares utilizing the TCG Opal 2.0 which are aimed to protect your data such as Symantec, WinMagic, McAfee, and more are directly compatible alongside Microsoft’s Drive support used specifically for BitLocker. For hardware safety, it is backed with a 5-year warranty and technical support.

The Kingston KC2500 is available in capacities of 250GB, 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB that is housed in a compact M.2 2280 form factor that saves space for other components while allowing users to take advantage of PCIe speeds. All 4 variants are rated for a maximum read speed of 3.5GB/s and 2.9GB/s maximum write speed for the 1TB and 2TB models with 1.2GB/s and 2.5GB/s for the 250GB and 500GB variants.
