GIGABYTE has brought forward good news for the early adopters of the 12th Gen Intel Core CPU users as they are adding the LGA 1700 bracket to the AORUS WATERFORCE family.
Including both the WATERFORCE and sub-variant WATERFORCE X lineup, both models are enhanced with enlarged tube diameter at 7.8mm, presumably to accommodate the increased die size of the Alder Lake chips, while leveling up the quality game by using durable materials to provide a maximum of 3200 RPM pump speed. In GIGABYTE’s internal testing, the flagship Intel Core i9-12900K managed to achieve an all-core speed of 4.9GHz on P-Core and 3.7GHz on E-Core boosted by the native Turbo Boost Technology while keeping temps stable and efficient in the Prime 95 Non-AVX test. On the other hand, the axis has been redesigned to use ceramic instead of metal that provides better longevity thanks to its greater ability at countering corrosion and damage resistance while the graphene bearing with nano lubricant provides a low coefficient of friction to reduce daily wear and tear and resulting in a longer lifespan of the product.
