GIGABYTE has announced they have secured 10 world record benchmark rankings across Intel and AMD platforms at COMPUTEX 2026, done in collaboration with various veteran of the OC scene.

Led by HiCookie alongside Sergmann, Saltycroissant, Madness777, and Exaberries, the team achieved a new DDR5 speed record of 13,556 MT/s using the Z890 AORUS TACHYON DUO X ICE motherboard, paired with Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 memory and Intel’s Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor.
The record-setting platform is built around GIGABYTE’s D5 DUO X technology with CQDIMM support, combining motherboard design optimizations, BIOS tuning, and clock driver enhancements aimed at extracting maximum DDR5 performance for extreme overclocking scenarios.
With the Intel side done, they moved onto the AMD segment as part of the G.SKILL 12th Annual OC World Record Stage 2026, where they claimed 10 Global First Place records using the X870 AORUS INFINITY motherboard, AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 processor, and G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB memory. The results included a maximum CPU frequency of 7,452 MHz alongside top rankings in benchmarks such as Super Pi 1M, Cinebench R15 Single Core, and Cinebench R23 Single Core.
The X870 AORUS INFINITY is designed to deliver exceptionally low memory latency on the AMD X870 platform, while providing the power delivery and stability required to push high-end Ryzen processors to extreme frequencies.
Following the achievement, HiCookie credited both the overclocking community and G.SKILL for bringing many of the world’s top overclockers together on a single stage, adding that the results reflect years of collaboration in memory technology and GIGABYTE’s continued focus on performance and reliability.
