MSI has announced a new collaboration with Ubisoft, better known as the publisher of games such as The Division 2, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and Assassin’s Creed.

Named the Ubisoft Forward, the joint effort will be fully revealed during an online digital showcase at 12 p.m. July 12 (3 a.m. July 13 for Malaysia) and everyone can tune in to see what is it about.

Representatives of both companies are very positive about the collaboration as they are long-term partners in business already. Here’s what they have to say about it.

“Over the years, MSI and Ubisoft have developed a natural synergy, allowing us to offer amazing gaming experiences to PC players and we are thrilled to celebrate our shared passion for games and gamers at the occasion of Ubisoft Forward and are looking forward further extending our complementarity in the future”.

Rose-Marie Nargaud, Associate Director of Technological Partnerships, Ubisoft

“The cooperation between MSI and Ubisoft in gaming over the years is amazing. The introduction of innovative light and sound technologies makes the gameplay more diverse, bringing all gamers more immersive experience while playing games. As the global pandemic is still unstable, we encourage all gamers stay at home with MSI and Ubisoft, watch the live streaming of Ubisoft Forward and stay healthy,”

Sam Chern, VP Marketing, MSI

It is good to see hardware manufacturers start doing the same, picking up a partnership with game developers as competitors such as Razer has done it a long time ago, integrating reactive Razer Chroma RGB to games that show off various status and stats. On the other hand, we might see some Ubisoft games themed limited edition laptops, PCs and peripherals for all the collectors out there or it could be as simple as free digital code though.
