BIOSTAR has revealed the brand new TZ590-BTC motherboard that aims to solve the hybrid needs of a gaming/mining system in one go.

Running the Intel Z590 chipset for Team Blue’s 10th and 11th gen CPUs, the TZ590-BTC is made for the so-called “mid-range” audience comprising of casual gamers, content creators, well, literally anyone that wants to use their machines mostly for content consumption or gaming while performing some crypto mining when they are away from their systems through the native functionalities included by BIOSTAR. Rocking a full ATX form factor, it carries the brand’s signature Digital PWM tech with 11 Phase power design to keep power delivery stable and sufficient while the quadruple DDR4 RAM slots support up to 128GB of total capacity with 1x PCIe 4.0 x16 for that all-important GPU for daily driving and 8x PCIe 3.0 x1 for connecting all the required hardware for mining Bitcoin and Ethereum. Storage-wise, there are 6 SATA III connectors in addition to the M.2 port to let users mix up both high speed and high capacity devices and for I/O, there’s a mixed bag of legacy and modern ports including PS/2, four USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, dual USB-A 2.0, Ethernet, HDMI, VGA, and audio.
