BIOSTAR has recently unveiled its upcoming Z790 VALKYRIE and Z790A-SILVER motherboards that are designed for the next-gen Intel Z790 Chipset processors, as well as the new B650EGTQ motherboard for the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors on the new AM5 platform.
For starters, the Z790 VALKYRIE and Z790A-SILVER motherboards come in the ATX form factor and are able to accommodate up to 4 DIMMs of the latest DDR5 memory, along with additional overclock boost capabilities thanks to the AMD EXPO or Intel XMP technology.
Equipped with PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 5.0 M.2, these two Z790 motherboards also include features such as VIVID LED DJ and Debug LED for greater RGB control and more accessible maintenance capability.
Furthermore, both the Z790 VALKYRIE and Z790-A SILVER boast BIOSTAR’s signature Digital PWM and 8-Layer Low-loss PCB design, which ensures stable power delivery across all components, supported by the Dr.MOS technology for high efficiency and impressive overclocking capability.
On the other hand, the B650EGTQ motherboard also carries the PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 5.0 M.2 for optimal hardware performance, as well as Dual Channel DDR5 memory support across 4 x DIMMs with MT/s 6000+ with up to 128GB max capacity.
Just like many other recent BIOSTAR motherboards, the B650EGTQ adopts features like Iron Slot Protection, 90A Dr.MOS, SMART BIOS UPDATE, etc, to ensure extra durability to the system for long-lasting performance.
In terms of connectivity, the motherboard packs all the essentials in its rear I/O panel including USB3.2 Gen2 (Type C), USB3.2 Gen2, a Display (1.2) port, and a single HDMI (1.4) port. In addition, it has 2 x WiFi Antenna ports and a single LAN port that is powered by Realtek RTL8125B chipset for faster internet connectivity.
