BIOSTAR has unveiled its new AI-NONXS Developer Kit, a powerful edge AI platform designed to streamline deployment for system integrators and AI developers.
To begin with, the new BIOSTAR AI-NONXS Developer Kit supports NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX and Nano modules, enabling efficient AI solution development across industries like smart manufacturing, retail, and so on.
In terms of connectivity, it includes four USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, one Micro-USB port, dual Ethernet, CANBUS, HDMI 2.1 (for Orin NX) and HDMI 1.4 (for Orin Nano), audio jack, as well as three M.2 expansion slots (Key-M, Key-E, and Key-B). With wide power and temperature support, it ensures reliable operation in demanding environments.
Furthermore, the AI-NONXS supports Linux and NVIDIA JetPack 6.2, alongside the high-performance Super Mode, which enables efficient on-device inference for cutting-edge AI workloads like LLMs, VLMs, ViTs, and Stable Diffusion.
When Super Mode is activated, the kit delivers up to 2x faster performance for ViTs and up to 2.5x boost for VLMs, making it ideal for real-time, vision-based, and multimodal AI tasks in industrial and embedded applications.
