The king of GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 just welcomed a couple of new models produced by ASUS.
Made for the ROG Strix and TUF Gaming families, the LC GeForce RTX 4090 is made to bring out the very best of the Ada-Lovelace architectured silicon chip. For the ROG Strix model, it features a full-coverage full plate that covers the GPU die and VRAM chip alongside a sleek shroud and blower-style fan that connects to the rest of the components such as the 240mm radiator, 540mm long tubing – all within a 2.6 slot design for a more compact and cleaner look.
The twin 120mm ARGB fans provide high airflow and static pressure while amping up the style points and is adjustable through the FanConnect PWM headers to power 2 additional case fans for dynamic temperature-to-fan speed adjustments via ASUS GPU Tweak III software.
On the other hand, the TUF Gaming variant continues the rugged styling, great stability, and high-level gaming performance. With 3x Axial-tech fans and the middle one spinning in the opposite direction, there is less turbulence and fan noise in general. Dual ball-bearing fans, high-grade capacitors, and other key TUF components make the 3.2-slot design just slightly better in terms of case compatibility.
