ASUS Malaysia unveiled the new Vivobook S 15 and Zenbook S 16 laptops a few hours ago, both part of the Copilot+ PCs with AI enhancements.

The Vivobook S 15 stole the spotlight, featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite SoC, a 3K 120Hz ASUS Lumina OLED screen, 32GB LPDDR5X-8448 RAM, and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

It boasts an impressive array of ports, including 2x USB4, 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x microSD reader, and a 3.5mm combo jack. The sleek chassis, measuring 14.7mm thick and weighing 1.42kg, makes it highly portable.

The Vivobook S 15 includes several ASUS AI features such as the AiSense Camera for auto lock/unlock, Live Captions for real-time subtitles, and CoCreator for transforming sketches into finished artworks.

It is powered by a 70Whr battery that supports USB-C charging.

On the other hand, the Zenbook S 16 is a standard x86-based Windows laptop, equipped with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, Radeon 890M iGPU, and Ryzen AI. The enhanced design includes a 3D vapor chamber for minimal operating noise.

The Zenbook S 16 also features a 3K 120Hz ASUS Lumina OLED display, 32GB RAM, and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Its I/O ports are similar to the Vivobook with the exception of the USB-A port at only one.

Additionally, the Zenbook S 16 offers a 40% larger touchpad for smoother navigation and a 6-speaker Harman Kardon-certified audio system for quality entertainment on the go.

For security, it includes Windows passkeys for Windows Hello enabled by an AiSense IR camera and Microsoft Pluton.

Price and Availability

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 and Zenbook S 16 are now available for preorder at RM6,299 and RM7,999 respectively. As a bonus, preorders come with a 4-port 100W GaN USB Charger and a 1-Year Extended Warranty.
