ASUS has unveiled a range of new industry-class offerings designed for AMD’s EPYC 4004 processor catered for SMEs and small-scale IT service hosting.

ASUS Announces All New Server Grade Hardware Powered by AMD EPYC 4004

The EPYC 4004 family of CPUs is made to be versatile and can be utilized fully for a whole range of applications at once including web serving, DNS, file/print workloads, email, CRM, ERP, and more. The powerful multi-threaded performance makes it suitable to be the center of a media processing server as well.

Or if Virtual Private Servers (VPS) are the main IT service, a total of 16 connections can be handled simultaneously thanks to the socket capable of running up to 16 physical cores per chip.

Now to the new products by ASUS.

ASUS Pro ER100A B6First, we have the Pro ER100A B6 server running a 1U rack form factor that can be deployed easily and at scale, making the lives of SMB data centers easier.

ASUS ExpertCenter Pro ET500A B6

Next, the ExpertCenter Pro ET500A B6 provides all the computing power for client-side systems where it features a ‘Zen 4’ CPU, DDR5-5200 RAM support, multiple PCIe 4.0 slots for storage and add-on, and NVIDIA Quadro RTX GPU compatibility to accelerate all the resource-hungry applications.

ASUS Pro WS 600M CLFor the motherboards, we start with the Pro WS 600M-CL which has its quirks of being a “chipset-less” motherboard in mATX form factor, making it light in terms of application and physical form where sectors like edge computing would really appreciate. It also has 2x MCIO ports for high-speed PCIe 5.0 connection.

ASUS Pro WS 665 ACE

Lastly, the Pro WS 665-ACE falls under the entry-level category ATX motherboards made for cloud and data centers with its 90°-rotated AM5 socket, Intel I225-LM LAN controller, several PCIe 4.0 slots, and more.

To cap off, all of these products are compatible with ASUS Control Center Express IT management software offering simplified IT operations, boosting productivity, and providing real-time monitoring and enhanced data protection.
