Acer Malaysia has officially brought in the Acerpure CHEF KV1 smart steam oven to expand upon its portfolio of kitchen appliances, and it is designed to tackle the common “dry-out” problem where food ends up cardboard-like or rubbery after cooking or reheating.
The CHEF KV1 comes in a minimalist matte white design and packs a compact 10L capacity, offering steam and traditional baking technology powered by a 5cc precision steam injection system paired with dual quartz heating, which helps keep food moist on the inside while still achieving that golden-brown exterior, which often is a make-or-break moment for things like chicken wings and pastries.
It also comes with an NTC electronic temperature control system working together with the dual quartz heating tube that keeps temperatures stable for consistent heat distribution. Heat adjustment ranges from 100°C to 230°C, with cooking times ranging from a quick 30-second warm-up to around 30 minutes for more involved recipes. And to simplify things further, you can find 9 smart cooking modes with preset parameters.
There’s also a dedicated Caramelize mode for anyone who likes that finishing touch of texture and color. This feature activates the top heating element to brown the surface of dishes like gratin, cheese toast, or desserts while keeping the inside tender. Everything is controlled through an LED touch panel that lets users adjust cooking modes, temperature, and timers with precision, making it accessible whether you’re an experienced home cook or someone just starting out in the kitchen.
In terms of build quality, Acer says the CHEF KV1 uses premium 304 stainless steel for key components such as the boiler lid, boiler, and grill rack, which should help with durability while also keeping the cooking environment hygienic.
