BIOSTAR has introduced its latest IPC and edge AI computing solutions at Embedded World 2026, held at NürnbergMesse in Germany from 10-12 March. Let’s check out what was unveiled in the exhibition.
At the exhibition, BIOSTAR has showcased its next-generation edge AI platform built on the Intel Panther Lake platform, powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3. The MT PRO-U325 platform is designed to deliver efficient edge computing and AI processing for industrial environments, enabling real-time analytics across applications such as smart manufacturing, smart cities, and smart retail.
The brand also presented its latest IPC motherboard lineup, including the BIW88-AHS based on the Intel W880 chipset and Intel Core Ultra Series 2 architecture. Additional models such as BIW68-AHP, BIH61-AHA, BITWL-IHT, BIRPL-PAT, BITWL-150, and ERX93-AXP provide flexible options for system integrators building reliable industrial automation and edge computing systems.
In the EdgeComp series, BIOSTAR unveiled multiple platforms including MU-N150, MS-1335U, MT PRO-J6412, MT PRO-U325, MS-J6412, MS-X6413E, MS-N97, and MS-X7433RE, highlighting its expanding edge computing portfolio. The company also demonstrated advanced edge AI capabilities through collaborations with leading NPU solution providers.
A key highlight is the EdgeComp MT-N97-MX3 platform, developed with MemryX, which demonstrates efficient AI acceleration for edge applications by combining industrial computing systems with specialized AI processors.
BIOSTAR also showcased several edge AI systems powered by NVIDIA Jetson, including the MS-NAT5000 and MS-NAT4000 based on NVIDIA Jetson Thor, as well as the MS-NANX and MS-NANO powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin. These platforms support demanding workloads such as machine vision, robotics, and intelligent automation, while the AI-NONXS platform further expands flexibility for developers building AI-enabled industrial solutions.
Not only that, the brand demonstrated a DIN Rail industrial networking solution developed with NETIO, showcasing extended industrial Ethernet connectivity for field devices. The setup integrates EdgeComp MU-N150 and MS-X7433RE platforms with 10BASE-T1L Single Pair Ethernet, enabling DIN Rail-mounted systems to transmit data and power over a single cable across distances of up to 1 kilometer, simplifying industrial IoT deployment and edge device integration.
