Acer Malaysia has finally brought in a couple of new laptops for 2021 and released them with some special offers thanks to the upcoming Father’s Day.
We previously covered the Spin 5 and Spin 3 last month with bits and details available here. What we have here is the price tags which are starting from RM4,599 for the Spin 5 and RM3,999 for the Spin 3.
The latest Swift 3 has finally gotten Intel’s EVO certification, a process in dictating whether the model is fitted for business use with an optimal experience that satisfies some of the most crucial white-collar jobs out there. With up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU, up to 16GB of RAM, and the use of PCIe 4.0 SSD (Yes PCIe 4.0 you’re not mistaken), it can be configured to be an average machine for light tasks or a pretty strong device that can get a hold of its own for multiple categories of workflows. An official Microsoft Office is included and it starts from RM3,499.
The Acer Aspire 3’s update comes in the form of a new color Electric Blue alongside an improvised ergonomic hinge that allows additional airflow for better heat dissipation. The specs start similarly with 8GB and 512GB PCIe storage but the CPU will start from 11th gen Intel Core i5 (No i3) so at least you’re getting something decent. It also has activated Microsoft Office too, if you’re wondering if the price is right of starting from RM2,899.
After all of that, let’s move over to the rugged department where the new Enduro N3 embodies durability, performance in a new slender design. Maintaining the signature 4-corner protection to protect against drops and bumps, it has choices of 11th Gen Intel Core i3/i5/i7 paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of PCIe storage. The brand new design also signifies that thin and light yet durable materials are here for mobile computing with only a weight of 1.85kg and 21.95mm thin. The I/O ports are still IP53 water and dustproof, by the way.
