Acer has announced the return of the annual Acer Day campaign, which is the company’s greatest regional promotional event of the year running until the end of August 2018. Last year’s campaign video generated more than seven million clicks across social networking sites, with over 2,500,000 page views on the microsite.
Acer Day 2018: Play Music Together
Acer Day 2018 will be concurrently held all across the entire Pan-Asia region. This year, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Mongolia, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka join the list of participating countries, bringing up the number to 20. China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam participated in the inaugural edition last year.
This year’s edition is themed “Acer Day – Play Music Together” and it draws inspiration from the belief that music is the best language that transcends borders and race. Acer hopes to connect people via the Acer platform through music and colour.
The event website (https://www.acer-day.com/my) which was officially launched on 20 July 2018 allows consumers to interact with people from around the world, to create their original music or participate in fun quizzes. In the process, consumers can also earn some Cool Points which allows them to enter the giveaways that are offering fantastic gifts.
Among the numerous prizes up for grabs for Malaysia during Acer Day is a 4D/3N trip for two to Taiwan, a Helios 300 and a Nitro 5 from the Predator gaming line, the ultralight and super slim Swift 5 and the highly versatile four-mode Spin 5. There are also 4 units of Iconia Tab 10, 4 roll-top junior backpacks and 10 units of Acer Day Bluetooth speakers in the prize line-up.
Roadshow
In conjunction with Acer Day 2018, Acer Malaysia will be hosting a roadshow in Mid Valley Megamall from 30 July to 5 August 2018, with performances by Amoi Amoi and Bell Yu Tian lined up.
And following demands from customers at the Flash Sale held at the Predator event in June, Acer Malaysia will be once again making available unrivalled great offers at the roadshow. For those who missed getting items such as the Predator Roll Top Junior Backpack in the June event, come early to Mid Valley on the roadshow days to grab one for just RM29.
