With just a month away from the CES 2025 big show, NVIDIA has officially revealed more information about its participation.
It all starts now…

With all the various reference cooler designs of current and past GeForce RTX cards used as the key visual, it’s hard not to see the middle section hosting that “50”-esque pattern and we think the world is ready for the January 6th, 6:30 PM PT keynote to see what the RTX 50 series powered by the Blackwell architecture is going to be after fellow CEO Jensen Huang demonstrated the family’s capabilities this year during GTC and COMPUTEX expos. And what do you know, GeForce LAN is back again with uhm, 50, as its official title. IYKYK.
The highlight of the show is going to be none other than the RTX 5090 rumored to host the GB202 die with 21,760 CUDA cores + 32GB GDDR7 VRAM with 512-bit interface and is expected to guzzle up to 600W of power within official specifications (The RTX 4090 could do 600W but practically only through custom VBIOS). Truly hosting humanity’s cutting-edge technology in terms of fabrication process and design, this card is highly suspicious to be the one GPU behind The Witcher IV’s teaser at TGA 2024 where “an unannounced NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPU” was utilized for it. Personally, I’d be surprised and baffled if this was done with a lower-tier card of let’s say, the RTX 5080.
To be fair, I think that the world has grown a bit “tired” in terms of waiting for the RTX 50 series but that’s cool anyway – most of us who really wanted to hop into some day-1 action probably took some time to save up some bucks and stacks in order to afford these premium GPUs. Additionally, this might be a good time to announce some new DLSS technology and updates but please god, no more gatekeeping these new stuff to the latest cards only.
