Imagine waiting on two pallets of the hardest-to-find graphics card on the market, only to be told they showed up and then vanished. That’s what Brazilian electronics and IT distributor Oderço says happened.
Revealed through an Instagram post, the pallets were expected at Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo and supposedly did arrive, then disappeared. Oderço says its shipment inquiries haven’t gotten any official response. It also hasn’t shared the arrival date or any tracking numbers, so the public picture is pretty thin.
With RTX 5090s being the best “all-purpose” consumer card that can both run games and AI workloads through its powerful cores and 32GB VRAM, the timing couldn’t have been worse. The US$8,000 price range around this time will become more expensive as rumors surrounding Team Green stopping production to utilize the GB202 chip for RTX Pro cards, though official sources have denied it, nevertheless, still caused a stir within the community.
