ViewSonic has recently announced the latest model for the ELITE series of gaming monitors, the ViewSonic ELITE XG270QC that aims to continues its expansion of gaming line-up with products that deliver the ultimate experience for a variety of gaming environments.

ViewSonic monitors have done well in general displays market for a very long time and just begun to enter the gaming monitor sector in recent years. Let’s see what’s in store for the rising star.

ViewSonic ELITE XG270QC

ViewSonic Elite XG270QC RenderThe ELITE XG270QC has a resolution of 2560×1440 at a size of 27-inches and is capable of achieving latency as low as 1ms (3ms at stock) running at 165Hz (240Hz overclockable) of refresh rate. Its 1500R curvature coupled with VESA HDR400 certification makes it great for both content consumption and immersive gaming.

ViewSonic also paid attention to the image quality as it has 550 cd/m2 luminance and DCI-P3 90% color coverage. Since it is a gaming monitor after all,  it supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, the highest tier of the revamped FreeSync standard that guarantees frame rate and HDR, as well as its PureXP motion blur reduction technology which is a staple feature FPS players are looking for these days.

Lastly, all the RGB goodness can be controlled through the dedicated ELITE Display Controller software.

It is currently priced at an estimation of $460 in western markets while no news for the Malaysian market as of now. We will update this post when it becomes available.
