Desktop PC parts are hitting an all-time high in their prices, and if one really wants to build a system right now, chances are they are going to make do with a single stick of RAM. Enter V-COLOR’s latest release – the “1+” DDR5 RGB RAM kit.
Available in 16GB and 24GB flavors, you get one real RAM with actual memory chips while the other one is just a RGB filler module, so that your system can continue to look good and fully occupied during the “bad times”.
Well, at least V-COLOR is still adhering to its standards, as these kits are AMD EXPO certified to perform optimally with AMD Ryzen 7000 and Ryzen 9000 series processors. And interesting enough, they found that single-channel DDR5 can outperform DDR4-based builds with dual-channel RAM in some cases.
The brand is currently shipping these under the Manta DDR5 lineup, with the Manta DDR5 XSky getting 16GB while the Manta DDR5 XFinity receiving the 24GB, both at DDR5-6400 speeds.
Both the Manta DDR5 XSky and XFinity 1+1 kits are expected to be available through official v-color channels and selected global partners, including Newegg.
